• Our pastor will have completed 18 years of service on August 31, 2026. Apostle Paul said in 1 Timothy 5:17, “Elders who lead effectively are worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.” We will celebrate our pastor’s anniversary on Sunday, September 13, during our morning worship service at 11. In recognition of our pastor’s esteemed leadership, the anniversary committee has planned a noteworthy time of Honor, Worship, and Word! Let’s fill the house with our family and friends because it’s celebration time!
• The Youth & Young Adults Fellowship will be held in person on Saturday, September 19, at noon. Our young people will enjoy food, fun, and games. Be sure to bring a friend. • The Western Baptist State Convention’s newly elected president, Pastor Reginald C. Payne, and his cabinet will be officially installed on Saturday, October 3, at noon. The service will take place at the Trinity Baptist Church, 2040 W. Jefferson Blvd., in Los Angeles. All officers and members are encouraged to take part in this historic occasion. Remember our President, his cabinet, and the State Convention in your prayers.
• Let us continue to pray that laborers present Jesus to those who need Him, that all who have experienced loss or devastation be made whole, and that God’s will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
